Stock the Schools

After Kentucky legislators failed to pass legislation that would fund period products in schools, Period Y’all stepped in to meet the need. Too often, schools don’t have room in their budgets to cover these essentials, leaving teachers and Family Resource and Youth Services Centers (FRYSCs) to pay out of pocket.

Impact

Through dedicated fundraising and community support, Period Y’all launched the Stock the School Program, sending period products directly to 200 schools across 51 counties in Kentucky’s Appalachian region—making sure students don’t have to miss school because of period poverty. Period Y'all provided over 30,000 period products to KY public schools.
