Mutual aid is metal.

In 2025, after seeing the powerful impact of providing free period products at concerts, Period Y’all launched the Periods Are Metal AF campaign. This initiative brought period product drops to porta potties at music festivals, making it easy for attendees to grab what they need—no stress, no stigma.

The goal is simple: to keep expanding the program to more shows and festivals across the region while challenging outdated taboos about periods and uplifting women and menstruators in the music industry. Because periods are metal, and everyone deserves access, comfort, and confidence—anywhere the music plays.
